And I do not like the look in Vladimir Putin's eyes. That sneaky slitty look.

I am not kidding.

I know. It is kind of primitive. But there it is. I don't trust the motherfucker.

I remember when we quit playing war with a German cast and switched to the Russians.

That is a long time ago and some water has gone over the dam since. But I am still wary. And so should everyone else be.

It is not news that Russia is about as homophobic as any other place on earth other than, well, maybe there are a lot of places you can't come out.

From this, I gather that there is a long ways to go in the communist dream state.

Yet he plays a guy who has two gay fathers. Go figure. The Russkies like to play both sides against the middle these days.

I think that he is performing a public service. That his life could be in danger is not only too bad but a continuing disgrace in an ignorant world.

It is a good reminder about how far we have come and yet to go.

I do not kid myself. The good ole "land of the free" could slip back anytime. Look at the ones who are running for office.

It was pretty clear that when Putin took over the helm, Russia would steer itself back into the waters of the old cold war days. Cold waters indeed.

He is a thug. And will behave thuggishly. That much we can depend on.

The Russkies caught red handed?

Anyone brought up in the Cold War has been waiting for this all along. Inevitable. You might have thought they were changing. No.

Something that they cannot hide, cannot lie about and cannot either wish or force away. Their usual modus operandi.

They have tried to scrub things but the fact is that there is no way to hide the obvious. The Russians supplied and ran the missile batteries that somehow went off and hit the plane. Period. End of sentence. Final paragraph.

I do not hate the Russians but I was reared to believe that they are duplicitous, bloody and totally focused on what used to be the commie dream of world domination.

Putin is just the same villain modernized. But it is a different world. Media all over the place. Coverage. Unlimited. 24 hours.

No place to hide.
