THE PLUG

I was thinking about this while walking the dog.

Why in the world have they kept Sunny plugged in for almost three decades?

At what cost?

How many lives could have been saved with the same money?

What was her "quality of life"?

Who was in charge of this?

Maybe no one.

Claus may have wanted her dead from the beginning and he was the next of kin.

If and when it happens to me, pull the plug.

Especially if it happens in the deep recession (not a depression). You will need the money. Or someone will.

And (I surmise) that I won't have the faintest idea that you did it.

And if I do, it won't last long in my memory bank.

This life extension thing is so fucked up.
