Not only is he a terrific numbers guy, he explains. And comments. And has a point of view. And he predicted Obama before anyone else did. Rather accurately too.

What? 538 is the number of electors! From the beginning, Nate has reminded us that is what counts. Not the pop numbers or an accumulated number. Those are interesting but not the prize.
