Centenarian
Today's film is a delightful romp through the life of a hundred year old man.
I fondly remember Mel Brooks portrayal in a famous comedy recording but this surpasses the easy laughs (as good as they were) of that excursion.
The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared.
Through great acting skill and wonderful prosthetics, Robert Gustafsson romps through a series of adventures after leaving his boring senior living "home".
This is really a series of vignettes all wonderfully capable of standing on their own. There are a few people and one elephant who travel along with him and that is more than half the fun.
It is over the top. A touch of Marx Brothers and a good dose of our friend Mel Brooks although the story is totally serious and moves straight through to a satisfying end.
I would not mind seeing it again. At all. And that makes it a 4 out of Netflix5.
