I can't believe I never watched this film.

The Princess Bride (1987)

But I am glad that I did now.

I liked it a lot. One of Rob Reiner's in early efforts.

All the fairy tale clichés are available, on display, in a loving way. No cynicism, no mocking.

The actors are all up to the task.

I am glad that I finally saw it.
