OPEC
Today's movie was the second installment of
in which the main event is the OPEC hostage taking in Vienna.
All this stuff happened 35 years ago and has become ancient lore but I understand they researched it pretty thoroughly and the locations are as close as they can be as well as the choreography, if that is the word, of the actual taking.
It is pretty exciting stuff.
Again, the skill with which they induce you to watch him with some interest and even appreciation while he is doing awful things is right on. No glorification. If anything they show that he wasn't as bright as people thought and makes some serious mistakes in judgement as well as planning.
For one thing, if you are planning to use Libya in the escape plan you shouldn't kill the Libyan delegate when he tries to resist.
