ON TO THE NEXT THING
We had a great 24 hour + visit with son Dave on his way to Australia.
He is off to a wonderful adventure and we are very proud of him.
We may see him again in the fall but, if not, it will be at least two years. A long time when you type it but a pretty short time if you are having a good time.
And I think he will be having something close to the time of his life. A new relationship in a new place with a lot lighter load of house and possessions. He had a lot of bags in the car but that is his entire life right there in four or five bags. Or six? Plus Lewis his cat! Who already left in his own plane.

No strangers to heat ourselves, we can only congratulate him on his choice of climate. Actually, it is pretty nice there all the time. I have been and really enjoyed it. He will be in Melbourne until Lewis passes quarantine in a month then Canberra. The biggest city in Australia. The national capital.
