AND ANOTHER THING

The Volvo went back in the shop after its servicing last week to get a new ignition switch.

We had noticed a stutter and the computer showed a problem.

While working on this, they found that the battery was leaking.

I have had battery anxiety lately. After about a year, the car batteries succumb to desert heat syndrome and just stop cold. Or hot.

So, as it turns out it was time and it was not picked up in the servicing.

We got the battery for free and a new cable. The first time I have gotten a battery under a warranty situation. I wonder if it was because they missed it the first time.

And wouldn't you know? Volvo has their own battery. Good luck if we call AAA. But we have a Volvo emergency number. I just don't want to use it.
