DIGNITY AND GRACE

Obama gives no speeches today in NYC at Ground Zero. He visits cops and firemen (has lunch at the firehouse, smart man) and lays a wreath.

He meets with some survivors.

He invited Bush but W declined (they say that he is a bit hurt not getting more Bin Laden credit but I am more inclined to go with the announced reason that he is staying out of the public eye for now--charitable me). Guiliani goes and is a gentleman about it. Very nice he was asked and good that he would accept and take his place. He has been an asshole about things and this is a good opportunity to make amends to The Man.

Who is The Man?

You gotta ask that?

Go see George Bush about it.
