THE POLL THAT MATTERS

No matter who or how you process it, Obama maintains a consistent, week after week, margin of 5%-7% over McCain in the popular vote.

Some talking heads interpret this as a thin margin.

But the poll that counts, the electoral vote poll, shows quite a different result.

Obama is Ahead 80-100 Votes in the Electoral Race

And this has been consistent for week after week.

I think it is too early to get to feeling victorious and all but there is no question that there is a solid consistent lead regardless of what they pop at him or whatever current issue is being knocked around.

He is not Teflon but pretty close.
