END OF AN ERA
Betty Comden, Lyricist for Musicals, Dies at 89
I saw so many of her shows and movies.
I once saw her in the lobby of the Colonial Theater in Boston; maybe the Schubert.
She was with Adolf Green; pacing, pacing, pacing.
They were opening their wonderful On The 20th Century with Madeline Kahn, Kevin Kline and Imogene Coca!
