SOME LIGHT IN THE DARK
The first survey of American sexual activity since 1992 will be published in a series of articles over the next month.
Condom Use Is Highest for Young, Study Finds
Why so long between studies? Sexual medicine cannot get funding.
America is still in the dark about sex. Even in this age of sexual enlightenment. A hot potato.
But one result is interesting. Gay activity is about the same as Kinsey found. A solid 7% and a casual 14.
The study also found that while only about 7 percent of men and of women identified themselves as “other than heterosexual,” a much higher percentage reported having had sex with a member of the same sex. Among women in their 30s, for example, 14 percent said they had performed oral sex on another woman at some point in their lives; 13 percent of men over 40 said they had performed oral sex on another man.We are still here and still queer.

This is very good news about young people and condoms.
If safe sex is learned at the get-go then it is made part of the whole erotic picture. The template that people use for lifetime sexual preferences and habits become ingrained.
