SERVICE SHOCK

I had the opportunity to use the new AAA battery road service this morning.

At the gym.

At 515 AM.

They come and jump start you, test the old battery, help you decide whether you want a new battery or not and, if you do, install it on the spot.

I jumped at the chance!

It ended up taking less time than if I had gotten jumped then taken it to a garage to get a new battery.

A new wrinkle in road service.

The guy was great. Methodical. Careful. Service oriented.

You get a guarantee to put in the glove compartment so that when it happens again (within 5 years, which it will as they die early in the desert) you can get some little money back when you call them to fix it.
