PAIN LESS
I am a long time fan of Xtra Strength Bufferin which, of course, is buffered aspirin.
Ever since I was running.
I have never veered from the acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) course.
It has seemed to me that most or all other pain remedies are specific to some special need and not appropriate for the wide range of ills that aspirin helps.
But, since I have been having this dental work done, the doc wants me to use ibuprofen which, I am finding, is superior in the tooth, jaw, head department. The pain relief. He presented it around the issue of bleeding but that is not the only thing.
I use the double strength. Gel caps. You take them less often.
It isn't a big deal but for me to let go of a long held view is unusual. Not unprecedented. Just unusual.
Not surprised, huh?
I find my rut and I stay in it.
I will stick with the Buff for muscle and joint stuff though.
Or maybe I will experiment.
Time will tell.
For now, it is ibuprofen for the mouth.
